Second stations, built new or added to your existing top
A second station gets you up where you can see the water: spotting fish, reading the flats, or picking out the channel markers on the way home. It also puts more weight higher on the boat, so the frame under it has to be built for that.
JC builds stand-thru second stations and Key West style tops with an upper station. Several of the jobs below were additions to boats that already had a top, including a SeaVee and an older boat in the middle of a remodel.

Station types we've built
- Stand-thru second stations
- Key West style tops with an upper station
- Stations added to an existing T-top or hard top
- Complete top-and-station builds on remodeled boats
- Ladders up to the station
- Commercial setups, like the rear shade roof and helm-top station on the 2520 below
Add on, or build new?
If your current top is solid, a second station can often be added to it. If it isn't, it makes more sense to build the top and the station together.
Either way, the existing frame gets looked at first, and you'll hear straight which route your boat needs.

Common questions
Can a second station be added to my current T-top?
Often, yes. Several of the boats shown here had a station added to a top they already had. It depends on the condition and design of your existing frame, which is the first thing we look at.
Do you build both stand-thru and Key West style stations?
Yes, both are in the gallery on this page. Which one fits depends on the boat's size, the console and how you fish. Call and we'll go through it.
Do you work on commercial boats?
Yes. The gallery includes a rear shade roof and a second station built over the helm of a 2520 commercial boat.
