Swim Platforms & Ladders

Swim platforms and ladders that make getting back aboard easy

On a lot of hulls, getting out of the water and back on the boat is harder than it should be. A swim platform and a proper ladder fix that. On a bay boat or center console they also give you somewhere to stand when you're working at the stern.

Every platform here was built around what's already on the transom: a single outboard off to one side, twin engines, or a stern drive that needed a full-width platform.

Platform and ladder work

  • Full-width transom swim platforms
  • Side platforms next to an outboard
  • Double platforms on center consoles
  • Boarding ladders
  • Step extensions for an existing ladder
  • Black or bare aluminum finish

Built around your transom

A platform has to work with the motor, the steering and the shape of the transom, so there's no one-size version. Photos of the stern from straight on and from each side are the best place to start.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you add a swim platform to a boat with an outboard?

Yes. Most of the platforms shown are on outboard boats, including a side platform next to a single motor.

My ladder is too short. Can it be extended?

Yes. A step extension on an existing transom ladder is one of the jobs in the gallery.

Do you build platforms for stern-drive boats?

Yes. The full-width platform with a ladder shown on this page is on an inboard stern-drive boat.
